Before heading to our camp site and after visiting Quirang went to have a look at the Coral Beaches at the north of Skye. Sadly that didn’t go to plan – it seemed that everyone else had the same plan and we couldn’t even get to the car park. So it was off t othe camp site.

We made an early start the next day, and headed to the Beach. This time, the only people there were some lads who had wild-camped at the beach, and someone collecting litter. The sun tried to come out a bit, but it wasn’t a fantastically clear day. But the water was gin-clear, and the “sand” beautifully bright.
